Join us on our 2 hour Paranormal Investigation Tour inside the countries only 19th century military prison at the Hobart’s Anglesea Barracks.

Anglesea Barracks is the oldest military barracks still in use in Australia and is one of Australia’s most significant historical military precincts.

The Gaol was established to accommodate wayward soldiers and was built in 1847. This imposing building contains the gaolers’ quarters and 12 single cells.

The goal was built when military numbers were at their peak in colonial Tasmania and preceded the “Separate Prison” built at Port Arthur in 1850.

After the departure of the last British regiment in 1870 the Gaol had several functions including its use as a girl’s reformatory from 1881 to 1905 and is now the home of the Army Museum of Tasmania.

We will explore this 175 year old building after dark equipped with some of the latest Paranormal Equipment for your two-hour experience to find out who may be still haunting these prison walls.

As the lights go out, the cell doors locked, we will walk the hallways and immerse ourselves into the unknown and discover the secrets this Prison has to tell.
